Hi. I am trying to figure out how to connect the one end of the rear side Manual window regulator "scissors end" that connects to the body on my car ( 1953 Conv. ) There is a stud attached to the regulators and the body has an indent (about 3" x 2" in size with mounting holes where a connector should go) I cannot find this part in the parts manual, let alone a conv./HT rear window illustration. Any help on finding a photo/drawing/or parts source would be most appreciated!!! Thanks, Chris D

Are your regulator levers anything like that shown on plate 31AApackardinfo.com/xoops/html/modules/myalbum/photo.php?lid=1090&cid=71 in 55-6 parts manual. The actual quarter windows are essentially the same so if your manual regulator section would fit in place of the electric motor section and connect to levers, that might give you an idea.

If not like 55-6, then there is a different type with install instructions shown in body section of 51-4 service manual for the club sedan quarter window. I don't remember if the club sedan widows pivot or just slide.

No problem. Hope it's the same but just don't remember what was there in 53 manuals. Lots of ways to move a window and seems like manufacturers tried a different one for each model.
