Mal do you know what today is?

I do know it's the first day of the rest of my life.

I do know it's not my birthday, unless my parents have been telling an untruth these many many long years.

On Packardinfo I made my 1,000th post just a little earlier today. But this is inflated by each picture I indentified in Packard Pictures so I consider myself somewhat short of that mark in real posts.

But actually I'm often told I'm so dumb I wouldn't know what day it is. And in this instance it appears I qualify in spades because nothing obvious comes to mind.

Well actually Mal, the comments that you leave on the pictures do not count towards your forum post total.

So you were right, today is the day you made your 1000th forum post! Thanks for all your continued support and being the resident Ambasador of the Owner Registry!

Congrats to Eric also, as he just hit 1,000 posts today also! Thanks for your long term support for the website!

Explanation is quite simple - Just giving credit where it's truly due. In this case to Kev on reaching that significant milepost with his very worthwhile efforts. My contributions in comparison tend to fade because of their lighter content. So really there's no comparison!


EDIT - And Gerd, the only reason I half guessed the 1,000th post was the PM I read from you before I read Kev's question.
