Nobody seems to want it so starting Wednesday I am seriously considering taking the sawzall to it.

The opening picture is of a reciprocating saw. The deadline is (threatened to be) tomorrow. The car is in Indy.

FYI . . . .

A nice looking car and not a terrible price. Even if it needs some work it is definitely too nice for the saw if that is really his intention.

If I was closer I'd pick it up in the heartbeat. Interior looks great from the single picture.

I thought that it looked reasonable, too. But little pictures can conceal big defects.

I think that Indy is about 250 miles from here, but I'm going to Wisconsin to pick up a parts car in June, and I don't really have the time, inclination or interest.

But I wanted to put it out there in case somebody knows somebody.

And I kinda think the guy is full of $#!t, so . . . .

I'm rather surprised that there are palm trees in in Indianapolis.

Indeed. A picture of a printout of pictures? And yet he could take a picture of his saw?

Lots of things that are raising red flags to me now. Too bad, it's a nice car. If it were real.

Yeah, good catch on the palms. Those pictures kinda scream SoCal, methinks.

Yeah, it's likely all BS.

Imagine that, being taken in on the internet. One cannot spot every Nigerian doctor . . . .

I think most potential buyers prefer to see pictures of the car as it currently stands. Pictures of the car in past locations are nice and all, but how can one know that those pictures accurately reflect what they are buying now?

The above ad shows undated printout pictures from (presumably) California, while the car is supposedly located in Indianapolis. We have no proof the car is actually in Indy, or that it even exists. For all we know this dude could have printed pictures from the internet.

Current pictures (and lots of them) will probably garner more attention and result in a sale.

Generally speaking the consensus seems to be that this guy is fishy, the pictures are just a part of the puzzle. I seem to remember someone making a similar "threat" involving a sawzall and a short timeframe before.
