Anyone have info on this car? There is a guy on Facebook with the original warranty brochures for it that he got at a swap meet.

Last info I can find anywhere is Stuart's article: it was extant in "good" condition as of 1987.

'Twas a while ago but the Caribbeans don't have much of a habit of disappearing, so maybe someone knows a guy.

Yes, I have info on this Caribbean. Had it on my list for many years. It was originally delivered in Boston, MA.

I believe I know where it is today and many more details, but have to get into my other laptop– which at the moment is having problems.

I don't have FB and never will. Is this fellow selling these items?

By the way... I drove 5699-1162 several years ago.

And Caribbeans DO indeed "disappear"... my 5699 with factory air and wire wheels has been missing for 22 years!

From a listing of Caribbeans I have from Randy's collection it lists 1163 as being in RI in 1989. This car is one car before Randy's 1164 have no idea of his information source

Ahhhhh.... in other words, available to the present owner of this Caribbean... for an unspecified amount... but available.

I doubt any more than the few bucks he paid for it.

As I said... delivered new in Boston.

My last notes on this Caribbean were made in 1989.

While it would be ideal to place these papers with the actual car, it would still be almost as nice to see these papers preserved in an archive of Caribbean literature and items.

Delivery date on the owners service policy...June 26, 1956...The day the music died (on East Grand Ave.)

Monday, June 25, 1956 was the date of the Last Packard being produced in Detroit. And, it was in the Conner Avenue plant, see photo. The last car at East Grand Blvd. was built on September 16, 1954, see photo.
