Well, they surely know quality in Detroit. Take a look at the federally compliant logo this year. We were 74 years ahead of them, this is the '37 California "low emissions" version.

I believe you may be confused. That's the Goddess of Speeds twin sister from the darkside, the Goddess of PR. She was removed from the family tree for being impure in both thought and deed....

Not sure if everyone understands my reference, I sort of figure everyone has memorized the 35-41 Parts Book. For the deluxe ornament ( standard on the 120CD and 138CD) a California only Flying Lady without the outstretched arms and wheel is specified. Obviously the California DMV found it to be a hazard or maybe they thought the arms detracted from her chest.

A federally compliant logo can't be a Goddess (or God) of anything as someone might be offended. This logo is the asexual, eco-friendly mascot named Pete that represents nothing and is sure to please everyone.

Correction: 'sure to please no one.'

Here she is in all her glory!
So Fred, do you think they've infringed on a patent here?

this is not the first year for the Detroit NAIAS logo. Infringement is moot is no one is a valid current holder. Design patents used to be given out rather freely.
