Todd,
That was quick, or I missed seeing your '50 Eight Touring Sedan already in the Packard Owner's Registry, either way,

ok, a few more
That thing in the back seat is a trunk-mounted A/C unit. Does not look like it was ever installed in this vehicle

Hi Todd
Congratulation on become a Packard owner and welcome to the Forum! You've joined the friendliest, most knowledgeable, enthusiastic, helpful and generous group of old car folks on-line. Glad you've taken up the revival of this fine old Packard and started a project blog to document your progress. As you can see, quite a few have taken and are taking the same journey, all helping each other along the way. Many of the problems you'll encounter have been documented in other blogs but still post any and all question you have, folks are standing by at the ready to help. We'll all like to read about and see your progress. Again, welcome, now the fun begins! Steve

Proud 1953 Clipper Deluxe owner. Thinking about my next Packard, want a Clipper Deluxe Eight, manual shift with overdrive. |

One last pic, I lied. Found this stuff in the glove box. No idea what the brackets are for, but thought the old ice scraper was neat. Certainly won't need it here!
And that's all I have for now. Not really sure how much progress I'll make on her as I have several other pending projects needing attention. The wife is pretty enthused about it and wants to help, so she may be a motivating factor. :)
