Thanks guys and yes Randy it IS a blessing to have all the folks on this site willing to help and share their knowledge and experience. I hope to be able to repay in kind as I get 'smarter' and more experienced; in the meantime, Packard Info is some kind of resource!!! Chris

Congratulations!!! Nothing like the first time a car you've worked and struggled patiently to restore to proper operation runs and drives the way you knew it always could. Its a sense of personal satisfaction unknown to those who haven't worked their way through the difficult process. Always made me smile, too!

Couple of pics...
P.S. - anyone scrutinizing my lights - the ones on the bottoms of the front fenders were the abominations of 'the last guy' and I added the teardrop signals. The lower, round ones will disappear when I paint the car and I can weld the holes over. In the meantime, THEY are better than looking at holes!!

It looks gorgeous and I believe the fog lights are mounted very close to the position they were on my 1940 110. I couldn't see too clearly how yours are attached but mine used offset cast bases which gave flexibility in positioning depending on other accessories such as the grill guard.
