I recently decided to do this, as have some long-time regulars, but because old threads get pushed farther down the list, some may miss this good idea. So, I decided to summarize the salient points as a new Add Car Info to Your Signature FAQ to help promote the concept.

I believe I have the technique down correctly, but let me know if any changes are needed.

Wow! You have quite the fleet of Packards!! Thank you for adding them to your signature!! I think this is a great way for us to see what everyone else has in the garage!

As an added bonus, it should help Mal promote the Owner Registry.

Great work there, thanks for putting in the hard yards to pull the FAQ together. Speaking of which, I haven't forgotten doing a FAQ for adding Packards to the Registry, probably do it after Christmas.

You are more than welcome. You have done a great job as the de facto keeper of the flame for the Registry, and I thought that if more people found what has already been entered there, more might step up to do same, without prompting.

I just felt that I was in best position to compose that FAQ at this particular moment. As a matter of fact, I just finished making some refinements - thanks, in part, to a little clarfication from BigKev WRT to one point. Yet, if you or Bill see or hear of any problems with those instructions, let me know and I will try to refine them further.

Meanwhile, I'm sure you will get to the Reg FAQ in the fullness of time; keep us posted of your progress or any obstacles with that.

Let me give this a lil bump and see if we can get more members to add their Owner Registry page to their signature!
