humanpotatohybrid: Thanks for posting that link to the Checker Model A. Very rare car as extremely few survived, given how hard cabs are driven. I've always had an affinity for Checkers, dating back to my college days in NYC back in the 1970's. Those things were everywhere back then. Almost all cab companies in the city were using them. There is a guy in my area who uses a 1972 Checker Marathon to pull his food cart around. He sells the best hot dogs.

I almost bought a Checker once. It was a 1960 Superba and had never been used as a cab. But it did need a lot of work. I always thought that the later Checkers looked a lot like a 1951 Packard. Maybe that's why I like them so much.

Check out this two-toned prewar Packard. What a horrible choice in colors. And the owner obviously spent a significant amount on an otherwise top-level restoration. Wonder how much that paint job will impact the sales price!

Good Evening...That's a nice looking Packard...I actually like the colors. Perhaps if I were only for original...then I would want to argue about the price...If my wife liked the color, then I'd purchase the car and domestic tranquility would be preserved! Ernie in Arizona

Two-for-one deal in the PNW. Nice cars, both came out of the LeMay collection when they auctioned some off a few years back.

1952 Packard 200. "Runs and drives", guy says the lifters are making noise. No air cleaner in the engine picture (looks like it's in the rear seat), no idea if the brakes were gone through. Paint looks very presentable, chrome seems to be in great condition. Interior looks original and appears in good condition also. It appears to have a 1951 hood (Packard block letters) and a 1951 senior grille. Overall a very nice car for $6500.

1951 Packard 200. Has not been started though the engine turns over. Not many pictures so no idea of the condition of interior or engine bay. Exterior looks like it would clean up nicely. $2400.

Buy both together for $7900. If I had the space I would highly consider it. Two potentially nice drivers for less than what you would pay for one in most places.

A few more recent FB postings:

1950 Sedan. Believe it is a Standard Eight. Very rusty parts car; check out the rust on the passenger side rear quarter panel area. Don't think I've ever seen one with a hole that big. Hate to think of what the floors and trunk pan must look like. New Hampshire:

Two "pregnant elephant" era Packard sedans. Basically, just rusted piles of scrap metal. The car on the left looks like a 23rd series Super Deluxe. I can't even identify the car on the right, but with the smaller back window, it must be a 22nd series. Located in PA:

1948 Club Sedan, believe it is a Standard Eight. Rough and rusty, but appears complete and may have at least some potential. New Hampshire:

1954 Henney Hearse. Just listed today.
Looks exceptionally straight and solid. Ad states car has been in storage for over 15 years. One of the better examples I have seen. Love the landau bars and coach lamps. Very original and nice. Illinois

Nicely restored 1932 Light Eight Sedan. Estate sale. Nice colors. Running, driving car. Arkansas:

1937 115C Touring Sedan. Looks like an older restoration, but a nice driver. Interior completely redone. Iowa:

1950 Club Sedan. Unrestored and in primer. Body looks very straight except for some damage to the passenger side door. Floor pan looks exceptional for this model. Colorado:

1957 Clipper Town Sedan. Fully restored, nice colors, looks like a great car. Tacoma, WA:
