Hi

This warrants a special posting: A very decent original '53 Patrician with factory air conditioning and what looks like original special order interior:

http://tulsa.craigslist.org/cto/4875488299.html

What think you? If its as good as it looks, seems cheap to me at $5K!

I'm not expert on the Clippers either but that is definitely a 148" wheelbase. The grill is post war (46-47) and I didn't think the LWB Clippers came out until after the war. Anyway, I don't think it's a '42.

Hi BDC & JC in KC

You're right, the 148" long wheelbase sedans and limousines didn't enter production until the 21st Series for 1946-47. The bodies were built by Henney This one looks as if it could be a decent daily driver.

While I'm here, a few more choice pickings:

A '32 limousine, any guesses what series?

A '38 Super Eight 1603 sedan:
http://raleigh.craigslist.org/cto/4820500154.html

A '38 Super Eight Formal Sedan:
http://lasvegas.craigslist.org/cto/4835328706.html

A '39 Twelve club sedan:

A restored for touring '37 120, no photo:

It is a 21st series car. You can tell by the instrument panel. the 42s were different. Also by the grille with the wider bars.
