I know this is a slightly sensitive subject. But, do any of you have information (stories) about the three largest antique car insurers? I am thinking of changing from State Farm. Thanks!

I've had J.C. Taylor for about 45 years, never a problem but really I think you can only judge on the basis of having claims, and how they were handled. I had one, about 44 years ago, stolen radiator mascot. The paid instantly for a replacement, and covered all phone and shipping costs. That's not a lot experience to base a recommendation on, but I've never seen a reason to change.

By all means change from State Farm. Ditto Owen on J.C. Taylor. I insure 6 cars at the moment for about $400 a year.

Well this is going to sound odd. But I use to use Taylor. But, changed them to Chubb as they would do the hole fleet. They realized that I in no way can drive 10 cars at a time. So they have them at a much lower rate and there is no restrictions.

Hi Dave, I changed my insurance over to Hagerty several years ago and got 4 cars insured for what my other company wanted for 3. I had a costly claim two years ago and Hagerty send a adjuster to inspect the damage and even tho the damage was done in a repair shop Hagerty covered all of the costs. I also like the fact that there are no mileage restrictions. They also have helped sponsor the Packard National Meets.
Happy hunting.
Did you get the message about the carb. # 644s ?

Thanks all. I'll make a choice soon.

Yes, I sent a PM to you about it. I believe it is jetted differently. So, I think I should keep looking. Thanks.
