Hi

Another Craigslist choice picking:

http://denver.craigslist.org/cto/4275563862.html

Among this field of cars is a 22nd Series Custom Eight. Alamosa is in the San Luis Valley of south central Colorado so will be rustfree example. Check out the rear view of the '57 Nash for the Custom Eight in the background. In it you can see the chrome moulding surround on the trunklid.

Maybe I'll have to take a daytrip down there for a look this summer.

Steve

PS: Almost forgot this '51 Patrician 400 in NJ:

Probably not rustfree but a worthwhile project.

Hi

Projects, parts cars, four all together:

http://philadelphia.craigslist.org/cto/4303709761.html

That '51 Patrician might have a rebuildable engine, plus lots of other good parts.

Those lambo hinges are stronger than I thought to support that heavy door. Wonder how much structural changes to the pillar was needed to mount the hinge and counterpoise mechanisms -- and what it would take if someone wanted to revert to regular doors.

With the door treatment it is interesting the rest of the car seems to have remained mostly stock -- or at least doesn't appear to have suffered.
