on the non-stock paint, are you referring to the color divides? I thought the cowl vs hood center and roof vs decklid divides were 46 vs 47 differences.

bkazmer - You may be correct. My comment was on the deck lid divide on this one. Seems so awkward to have it divide on the deck lid part line instead of the roof crease. Not sure about the hood center section too. Did any of the 21st series Customs come with two-tone exterior colors? I have only seen monotone colors on these cars.

markincoonsbay - Only the Customs had the front to back headliner bows. This is one of the interior design features that made them unique.

The first one looks to have the Electromatic Clutch; a big point in it's favor to me having a left leg that doesn't like clutch work.

Correct. The '46 models (both sedan and 2-door) had the decklid and side window frames painted the upper color. The '47 sedans had the upper color stop at the roof crease. I think I read that the center hood stripe was discontinued in '47 but I can't find the reference to back me up. I believe painting the deck lid the upper color on the 2-doors continued through the 22nd series.

I remember this car very well. I was living in Jamestown NY
when this car was resurrected and restoration begun. It had gotten quite poor codition from years of improper storage. Nice to see it appearing again.

And take a look at this "flathead straight V8"
its looks like it very reasonable priced from what my untrained eye can judge from the outside:

This 52 sedan looks pretty good as well, and also priced that it won't break the bank!

On a different note, here's a title for a 1937 Packard. It was issued less than a 100 miles from here.
