Ultramatic transmission road test--successful, and transmission shifts into direct-drive perfectly at about 20 mph. Plans are to take the '52 to the Texas Parkard Meet, April 5-6-7. Thanks to all who responded to this thread. Now back to the Hydro-E project on the 54/300 in the coming days. Have a great spring weekend, especially those of you enjoying the snow.

Glad to year your road test was successful and your Packard is still a Packard. A modest snow here in northern NJ, about 6 inches of real, wet heavy stuff. But we're supposed to get near 60 degrees on Sunday and just a little less tomorrow so it won't last long. Sunday may be the first time out for one of the cars after winter layup, a local St. Patrick's Day parade!
