Thanks for posting the link. I had been looking for a companion piece to this one. It has several more minutes showing those large presses that slide in and out. The fellows standing inches from them placing the rivet in position has got to have nerves of steel. Can you imagine the field day OSHA would have had with that setup -- no guards, the guys hands barely out of the way when the presses come in to set the rivet. Wonder what happened if one was a tad slow on the rivet placement.

Hi

Interesting video, the largest difference today would be all those pick and place operation done by men then are now done by robots programmed to do it exactly the same everytime without breaks or injuries.
