If you go to The Packard Club website (www.packardclub.org) and click on "Reference" you can call up the paint chips for your year Packard. But remember that chips can fade and colors can be distorted both when they are scanned and when they are viewed by your monitor.

Trim #43 is "light green cloth with dark green cloth".

No need to leave the site for answers to your questions.

Paint chip charts from suppliers and even the factory for that year can be accessed right here:

https://packardinfo.com/xoops/html/modules/article/view.category.php?16

...but colors may vary from original due to the limits of scanning and on-screen display, as well as age of the source material.

Paint and trim codes are decoded in the front matter (Introduction) of the 1955-56 parts book:

https://packardinfo.com/xoops/html/modules/article/view.article.php?198

...which I scanned, section-by-section, for this site from my personal archive.

Once you have an idea of the color that corresponds to the name, you might be able to see how they look on an actual car by letting your fingers do the walking through this site's Owner Registry.

In fact, here's a 55 Clipper sporting a Emerald over Jade (CA) two-tone paint:

https://packardinfo.com/xoops/html/modules/registry/index.php?Action=view&ID=45

...and another in reverse (AC):

https://packardinfo.com/xoops/html/modules/registry/index.php?Action=view&ID=1220

... and here's one with a Tourmaline over White Jade (BM):
