This is an article from the Historic Vehicles Association. Interesting story on the car.

It's amazing. Everybody and his uncle poo-poo's the car but there is not one of us who would not have it in his/her garage if they could.

You'd have to build a new garage cosidering its width and leanth!

Isn't that the truth. I bought an early 50s owner built house. You'd think anything built in that era would have a decent size garage. Not so. Tried parking a 56 senior when I first moved in and could barely open the door wide enough to get out of the car -- forget closing the garage door since even with the car to the front wall the bumper stuck out. He must have built the garage around a small Studebaker.

It's not my cup of tea, but compared to some of the other monstrosities being built during the 50's it holds up pretty well. The rear of the car seems over styled compared to the front. Tone that down and maybe there would be fewer objections.
