I certainly won't be watching it because most anything on TV is junk.
Recently I was told that auto restoration is pretty basic stuff. My response was there are all different levels of work and if you don't know what you are looking at you will sound like a fool. It's human nature to degrade talent which is one reason the whole world is so screwed up.

I agree totally. The show rather impressed me as being a "discount" auto-restoration set-up. Also, the non-stop bickering between the two principle guys in an attempt to be cute, is annoying in the extreme.
After 30 minutes of last night's installment, I had to turn it off. as always Garrett Meadows

Peter Klute's 'legendary' series is a quality show. I am always impressed with the attention to detail in the work they perform.

If it wasn't for PBS I would have quit watching TV long ago.

Hopefully your PBS station isn't on a perpetual pledge drive cycle like ours seems to be on every other week. Even the "special" or "viewer request" programs they run during pledges here are what seems like sitcom reruns from the 60s because they've been seen so often.

Are they the bunch that was soliciting volunteers on the AACA board recently?

Howard, Our PBS comes from Minneapolis/St Paul. Yes they do a fair amount of pledge programming but I guess since they have no advertising income that's how they raise money? But when they run shows like American Experience, Nova , Nature and the first rate British dramas such as Foyles War or Downton Abbey it spoils me from watching Orange County Choppers or Pimp My Ride ad nauseum Maybe my age showing?

You won't find me within fifty miles of any event featuring anybody from television.
I suppose some people might consider that a good thing so everybody wins.

That show is total crap. About 10 minutes of actual old car stuff, the rest is pure fluff. Scripted "reality" show BS.
