Hello yall, I'm new to the Packard forums and have a question about some Packard Inline 6 engines I have. The first one code is star U129074A star and I found a big 2 with I guess a date next to it 7-22-27 in another place. The second one code is star U113631C star and I found a big 2 with I guess a date next to it 2-2-27. I think I have figured out that they are 1927 288ci Inline 6 motors does this sound right? Thanks for any info and for adding me to the group.

Looking at the Packard Engine Serial Number listing, available for free download on this Site, advises #113631 would be from a '27 4th Series Six and #129074 would be from a '28 5th Series Six.

Besides Packard engines, if you have any Packard/s I invite you to include it/them in the Packard Owner's Registry.

Thanks for the information and this is a good site. I don't have any Packard cars I only have the two engines. I had these two engines for awhile and I'm thinking I may try to sell them.
