O-D Vol Reg on 1932-36 had 2 Decals on it topside. 1 was an oval with the O-D name etc. Anyone know what the 2nd rectangular one was.

Gold background, black type in all caps. Two lines of copy: first line REGULATOR, second line PATENTED.

Both decals have been in reproduction for years.

Pulfer and Williams makes the oval labelhttp://pulferandwilliams.com and probably sells them too. Classic and Exotic carries one of the oval labels. I didn't see a rectangular label on either site. There are some ebay vendors that also have blank oval labels.

HH56, from what I see you've given sources for the metal starter and generator tags, the regulator used decals, see pix below. The last ones I bought I got at the vendor meet at the Traverse City national meet.

My bad. What I get for not reading carefully but it's been awhile since that company was mentioned. Maybe someone else can use the info on where to find repro plates so I won't delete the post.

Thanks for the info on LaVine. I remembered Pulfer and Williams had changed hands a few years ago but didn't realize it was LaVine that had bought them.

Other than what Jerry posted on his old site that is the first acknowledgment I have seen from LaVine of their purchase of the plastic business. Several have been asking about knobs and I have referred them but no one has reported back if they are selling or have restarted actual production yet.
