1955 Packard hardtop weather-strip installation

1955 Packard Hardtop - need to find out the exact location of the weather strip that goes on the body from the cowl to the roof on the fronts of the doors; and the one that goes on the front of the doors and up the vent window frame.
I have about 13 parts cars; about 6 of which are hardtops - but the weather strip has rotted off all of them with no trace of where exactly the weather strip is placed.
Also there is a large gap at the rear of the doors, just below the windows and the parts book does not show anything going in there; and all of the parts cars have the exact same large gap.
Any help appreciated; photos of the correct installation would be most helpful if anyone still has an original car that has not been molested.
Please email dcas@srt.com and visit my website!
Thanks, Dan Caswell dancaswellcollectibles.com

G'day Dan(forklift2),
to PackardInfo but sorry I can't help with your weather strip questions. Instead I invite you to include your '55 Hardtop in the Packard Owner's Registry.
