That is a nice 54. Looks to me like Galahad green and Orchard green but hard to say. There was another-- Gulf Green Metallic--introduced mid 54 that I didn't see on either of the charts on site. I thought it a splendid green and used it in combination with Bellevue on a 54 Pacific. A bit different and darker but the sun catching the metallic made it look different almost every time you see it.

Good turnout for the swap-meet this morning. Lots of good bargins to be had. I picked up spare stainless side trim for my car for $1 a piece. I paid $40 for a couple of missing pieces 2 years ago. I also swaped that box of cores I paid $5 for to David Moe for new parking light lenses with gaskets and hardware. I also picked up a pretty much perfect horn button (no crazing), and a NOS (still in box with instructions) fuel door guard. For the website I picked up a 3-hole bound 46-50 service manual with no reprinters mark on it. So it will go through the scanner in the next few days and up on the website.

Besides the Wonderbar radio for my '54. My other big find was a complete washer pump assemble with bracket for $35. Just need to clean it up and replace the wiring and vacuum line. I also picked up a few books that were on the Bookshelf thread pretty cheap. I had to talk myself out of a running '40 110 Couple that was there, I sure do love that body style. My wife would have shot me. There was also a 100% rust free basket case 55 Caribean there. Complete with all parts, and boxes of nos extra parts, and it came with a '55 Patrician parts car for $25,000. Original color white, black, pink. Currently in primer. I think the production number was 417 or 419.

All and all a great day!

I also spoke to several folks at PI, and I have a preliminary agreement from them to do either a story or write up about the PackardInfo website in their national publications. So not sure when it will come out, but look for it in the next couple of issues. I think it will help expose the website to more Packard folks that were not aware that the resource that PackardInfo provides exists.

Howard, here are the pics of what I got. It was explained to me that the red cap is 12v, and the black cap is 6v. I got the 12v one as I am running 12v in my '54.

That was the question and a good price for what you got. If no co-ordinator, you may need to plug the small hose nipple next to water outlet on the black valve until you find one, otherwise it will suck air while water is pumping.

I agree Howard. I was close to buying this restored one that was in Sandy Chico's both. But it was $145. I must say that if you need chrome, that Sandy's replated chrome is the finest I have ever seen. But with great quality, comes great price. Also here are a couple pics of cars that were in the parking lot today that came for the swap meet.

Thanks for those pictures, Kev.

I was there Sunday morning 8am. I did find a few things I had not been able to get elsewhere. Such as; the 300 emblems for my 52. :)

I looked for some guys wearing the packard info apparel and never noticed any. We probably walked right by each other.

I am sorry to have missed you. I bet we did walk past each other 10 times. I was there from 6:30am till about 10:30am. I was not wearing my PInfo shift as I had managed to get that dirty the first day while lugging parts out to my truck from a pre-swapmeet parts deal I made.

I am glad you were able to locate some parts. I have always had very good luck at the PI Swapmeet, and usually have got those parts at a good price.

The next one is in May, and is a smaller regional swapmeet. Only about 2 row of vendors, and usually none of big vendors come out for that one. It's really just spare-parts exchange and club projects. I often find that that rare part I am missing is in the bin of someone elses spare parts and they are willing to sell it cheap.
