Fortuitous question about tubeless tires on non-tubeless rims as I was about to ask the same thing! Mine will have inexpensive bias ply 7.50X16 light truck blackwalls and I'm not sure how well they will work on a vehicle of this weight but, as it really won't be driven other than testing, it should be okay. Comments as always are welcome!

First thing I'd think about is the maximum load rating of the tire compared to the expected load it's going to have to carry, and what kind of a safety factor you want.

The tires I have in mind are overkill for this car with a load range of E and 10ply when the car should have 6 or 8 ply (I don't recall which). It was mainly using tubeless tires on tube-type rims on the heavy car that concerned me.

The rear stabilizer link rods are badly bent. It it possible to straighten them and if so is it better cold or with heat?

I splurged on a very, very cheap set of bias ply 7.50 X 16 tires so will see in a couple weeks how well tubeless tires work on non-tubeless rims! If they don't, I'll simply add tubes.

Where did you find bias ply tires?

On eBay and since it doesn't even run yet, I thought they would be good enough to keep it rolling.

I have had no luck whatsoever getting a tailpipe made and will need it in a few weeks. The only place I found willing to look at and work from the blueprint is Waldron's but no responses or replies since sending it to them. Any other ideas?
