Kanter still shows them as available on their website. I believe they sold out of repro tanks but are they sold out of senders as well?

The sender is the same as certain Fords and Thunderbirds of the late '50s and as soon as I find my note about it, I'll update this with the specifics.

UPDATE:

1951-1956 used the same fuel gauge tank sending unit made by King Seeley.

Ford ? ? ??
1957-1958 Fairlane, Sunliner, Victoria ??????
1957 Custom ??????
1958 Custom 300 ??????
1957-1960 Thunderbird ??????

Mercury ? ? ??
1957 Montclair ??????
1957 Monterey

May be NAPA #STP FG97A
73 ohms +/- 12 ohms empty stop
9.6 ohms +/- 1 ohm full stop

The arm might need to be adjusted for full travel.

Although I have one of these, I've not yet used it so I don't want to post until I've done so. However, if it's not there already I would be surprised as this replacement is nothing new!
