On my 1939 model, I had to take it to a shop and use the Hydraulic press to get the old one out.

to PackardInfo. Yes, used an hydraulic press for the Kingpins on my '41, virtually the same suspension. I invite you include your '38 Packard in the Packard Vehicle Registry.
