Some elegant Packards accompanied the Duchess on a police-escorted tour of the waterfront estates of St Michael's, Easton and Oxford MD.

Many significant cars including this Cord and a 1939 Lea-France (only 3 made before the Nazi occupation).

Joe, thanks for providing such impressive images. I hope that your participation was not the reason for the police escort?!

Having a police escort was fun. There were police cars and officers at every intersection, so we ran all the stops and signals. I’ll post a little video later.

Not great, but you 'll get the idea from this video. My gas gauge quit, and despite asking 2 other people to remind me to get gas before the tour, we all forgot. As it turned out, we only used 5.5 gal driving from Potomac, plus we drove to a waterfront estate for a soire close by. Still, at the mid-point of the motoring tour, at the Oxford Boatyard, the tour organizers carried gas and a means to tow cars that couldn't make it. We didn't know how much gas we had, so they provided 3 gallons. It took 4 people to do and oversee that task. We actually had 10 gal left, but every passenger felt more relaxed after the addition.
We had a crab cake lunch at the Robert Morris Inn. Morris was a founding father, signer of all the important documents, and worked with Hamilton to create the finance system. He rolled over a couple of times last weekend

Joe, nice video. Thanks for sharing. I continue to be impressed by the differences in architecture in the northeast as compared to what we have in the southwest.
