Does anybody know of a place to get a new windshield for a 1952 Packard 200?
As of right now the only place I can find it is in California and it costs $2500 (I am not even sure if that includes shipping), and I was hoping for a cheaper alternative.
I live in PA and am not able to drive too far away, so pretty much anything west of the Mississippi is to far.

You didn't mention which model 200 you have but if one of the vendors cannot help about the only other option would be to find someone with a parts car having a good windshield. 51 and 52 sedans used the same windshield with the rounded top corners so that would broaden the search a bit. I believe the hardtop and convertible windshields are different.

I have a 53 Sedan windshield in PA. Don't think it's the same as a 52. I also have another one but don't remember what it's for. I think 51-52 sedan but am not sure. Here's a picture.

I picked these up as a 3 pack last year (along with a 55 windshield for my car) and these two I was gonna sell to Ross Miller. Let's see if he calls dibs on it still.

Likewise if this is not right, Ross (in MD) might have one lying around. You need the front windshield, or rear windshield? Dwight Heinmuller is also in MD but I'm not sure he sells stuff that big.

'55 400. Needs aesthetic parts put back on, and electrical system sorted.
'55 Clipper Deluxe. Engine is stuck-ish.

The 51-2 sedan windshields have rounded top corners while 51-2 hardtops, convertibles, and all 53-4 models have square corners. Not sure if the 51-2 square corner glass would fit the later models either. At any rate only a 51-2 round corner windshield would work in your 52 200 touring sedan.

The 51-2 glass has a relatively small curve and cannot tell without a side view photo how much the curvature on that one might be. At first glance it looks fairly curved so any chance it might be a wraparound for 55-6. If not as deep as the wraparound, then looks as if one has been found.

Here is the comparison side views.

DEFINITELY NOT the '55-56.Most probably the 51-52.
One is still in the original wrapper and the other I had removed to take the pics.
I got these, plus a load of stainless from the widow of the dealer in Hot Springs, Arkansas.

There might be a part/year number etched on those 2 windshields that you can track or on the paper wrapper. P was pretty good about that.

Alternate: Try Vintage glass,(FLA) aka Ball's. They are making new ones all the time, but don't know if they have this particular one but maybe able to make from yours.
I don't think $2500 is unrealistic if it's the right one. It's not likely they're plentiful - name your price. Things are high/inflated right now too. Expect several hundreds shipping from CA. Has to go freight due to size and needs to be crated right. If NOS, likely could break in transit. The plastic laminate goes bad after so long and they crack easy.
My other car was windshield unobtainium but Ball's recently offered new for it.
