Does anyone have an AC fuel pump chart that has #7338? If so, can you please tell me the fitment? Thank you!

I don't have an AC book but do have a Hollander Interchange. I believe the number on the flange might be shortened from a 7 digit number and if that is the case, Hollander converts a factory 1537338 pump to their number 36E. The only application they show for that 36E number is the 40-51 Buick, 60, 70, 80, and 90 series,

Packard used several pumps from 40-54 and three different pumps share the same Hollander 36B interchange number. I would take that to mean those pumps might look different but are completely interchangeable function and output wise. 356 engines have a couple of different pumps and the 54 models changed again.

My vintage AC fuel pump catalog claims coverage from 1926 thru 1953 and does not show a 7338 pump. Do you have the full unabbreviated number?

Thank you Howard and Dave. Unfortunately no, I have only the number from the pump in a text that someone is trying to sell to me as being 1939 Packard and the number is different than the 1939 pump that I have.

The 7338 pump is for 1940 and later Buick so will not fit a 1939 Packard. The actuating arm will be different.

Thank you Dave. The fellow swears that it came from his 1939 Packard and does look identical to the one I have so maybe he got the number wrong.

I finally remembered to dig out the one I have which has 9920 on it. This came out of my first Packard, a 1939 Six, but the engine was 1940 110 (which I still have) so it may be a 1940 number.
