Hey guys! Yeah, it’s me again, just had a question about the Philco custom radio in my 49’ std 8 can they be repaired/ inspected to get then going? Mine lights up when you turn on the knob but no sound.

Google Ralph the Radio Guy. He does repairs and conversions.

Probably the vibrator is bad. You can get a new one (they are solid state now), match the pinout and voltage/polarity. Or send it to a repair shop of which there are several. The radio internals didn't change much by year or make.

'55 400. Needs aesthetic parts put back on, and electrical system sorted.
'55 Clipper Deluxe. Engine is stuck-ish.

BIG THANKS BIG KEV! Hope to get it in a show this weekend at a local microbrew. I put bluetooth speakers in the back with a power pack and play 40’s music from my music app. Sinatra and Como, cruising with the Rat Pack!
