I disabled the caching on that menu. Let's see how that goes. But it doesn't explain why it was pulling the completely wrong data. That isn't code I've changed.

Has the issue happened again since I made the changes?

Yesterday and so far today all is working as expected and recents seem to be spot on. Whatever you did appears to have at the least minimized the older posts from being displayed.

That’s an issue I never saw happened but sometimes when I click on a new posting that is part of a long thread I am taken to the first page. Not really a problem but thought I would mention it.

No, the countermeasurement seems to be successful.

Kev, don't want to jinx it but whatever you did seems to have worked -- or at least driven it into hiding. Have not had any trouble since you made the change and that is better than has happened in months.

One other minor thing I noticed since you made the changes to the action of the right hand column is sometimes text in the regular post section bleeds over to the right and is covered by photos or whatever is present on the right. I think it has to do with being logged in vs not but cannot pin that down quite yet.

Here is an example of a post made a few minutes ago after I logged out and then went back to re read the post. Seems OK again when I re-logged in but that could be another of the sometimes it works and sometimes not things I have been experiencing. A minor thing but maybe related to whatever else is going on.

If you readjust your browser window size, does it suddenly pop back into place?

Kev, right now all seems well. Like the recents issue, the overlap is also intermittent. When it happens again will try a resize and see if it snaps back and stays in proper space.
