I know very little about programming and HTML so cannot comment on the pdfs being an Xoops issue. One thing I can comment on is right after the new website software was started I had to enable the develop category in the Safari menu so I can empty caches very frequently. If that isn't done the posts that display in the recent forum topics section fall several behind. This was not an issue before the change and don't notice an issue on any other sites I frequent -- although that could be because I empty the cache so often to get packardinfo to update.

It wouldn’t be an HTML issue but maybe the programming has a script that handles the library’s links and provides the proper disposition. Direct links through HTML do not have that advantage although I don’t know why Firefox would want to download rather the open it unless there is some setting somewhere.

Interesting about the caching. I hadn’t noticed that as I just click the Forums link again which refreshes it. I DID notice that I have to log in frequently even if I leave the site for a moment to look up something. The browser more often than not remembers the login so not a big deal but it does seem to happen more frequently on my iPad than it does on either my Windows or my Linux PCs!

These comments are, of course, not complaints as BigKev does a fantastic job with this site which I am sure we all appreciate. I hope there are failsafe plans to maintain it should he not be able for whatever reason to do so in the future!

Here is the manual longjohn mentions and I think is what you are looking for.

I didn't check this book closely but there were some late valve revisions and one valve was completely eliminated that may still be in these early charts.

Yes, the relief valve was eliminated later, but still shown. No worries though.

'55 400. Needs aesthetic parts put back on, and electrical system sorted.
'55 Clipper Deluxe. Engine is stuck-ish.
