I updated the above list to include the missing Service Counselors. We have all of them for 1946-1956 except 5 issues and 1 index. So if anyone can help with those then that would be appreciated. Then we will have a complete set of Counselors here on the website.

Thanks,

Kev, though the quality isn't great because I couldn't open it fully, I do have the pages of the 1936 Twelve owner's manual that I photographed for Walt Haskins. This is a very rare manual, copies are $500 or more if you can even find one. Each page is a jpg which I could send you or you could instruct me how to enter myself if that's possible.

Dave,

Why dont you email the JPG's to me, then I can adjust the quality and turn it into a single PDF manual. Thanks!

I went through all the Service Counselor articles and reformatted them to follow the layout that I am using for the Service Letters. So now it will be easier to quickly view a single Counselor without having to download an entire set. I will go back later and title the individual issues like I did for the 1939 & 1938 Service Letters.

Here is 1951 as an example, hope this makes it easier for folks:

https://packardinfo.com/xoops/html/modules/article/view.article.php?106

Also I never realized that 1946 article was not visible, but now it is.

After going through all the sets, I realize we are missing the following Counselor Indexes:

1946 Volume 20 Index
1948 Volume 22 Index
1952 Volume 26 Index

Kevin

I have most of the missing Service Counselors except the index for 1946 and will send scanned copies when I get a chance.

There are 2 index sheets for 1947, one from January to June and a second from July 1 to December. Only the later one is on the website so I will send the earlier one to complete the set.

There was a bit of a mixup by Packard in 1947 in that there was no Vol. 21 No. 10 Counselor issued but there were 2 issues of Vol. 21 No. 9, one dated May 1 and another dated June 1. The June 1 issue is already on the website.

I don't know if a separate index was issued for 1948 but there was one for 1947 through 1948 which I have.

I also have all 3 of the missing issues for 1949 and the index for 1952.

Excellent! I look forward to receiving them. Much thanks!

Also I just posted the 1941 Service Letters. Have them all except Issue number 9.

Thanks to Brian (BDeB) filling in the missing Service Counselors and Indexes, we now have a complete 1946-1956 Service Counselor set!

Thanks to everyone that donated all the various Service Counselors.

Also I uploaded the 1940, and 1943 Service Letters. We are missing an odd issue here and there on some of the Service Letters years, but we for sure have a much better offering now for the Pre-War years.

The 1943 Service Letters are very interesting from the Factory War effort perspective. Does anyone know if Packard send out any Service Letters/Service Counselors in 1944 or 1945?

Also I updated the list at the top of the this thread of the missing content.

Thanks,
