Strange that the Horch rear and side styling is ultimate beauty. Even better than Cord. While the styling of the front end of a Horch is a bit stark.

Beautiful automobile. If I recall, another Horch was selected as best of show recently. How did the Packards do this year?

I believe the prior recent Horch winner at Pebble was a 1938 model 853 roadster bodied by Erdmann & Rossi and owned by Judge Cassini of New Jersey.

The car reminds me of the story about the emperor that wasn't wearing any clothes.

O_D, you are correct. That car has a similar body color. It is a gorgeous car. We got to listen to the restorer describe the cars past and its restoration on Ocean Ave. in Carmel. Great memory. We did not attend Pebble this year, but will probably go to next year's event.
