FWIW, there must be several variants. That one doesn't look like any of the three I have.

That one shown on ebay is the integral base for the Lehigh compressor. My mount is exactly the same, and contains the oil as it also forms the compressor crank case bottom. There is a gasket between and the 10 bolts hold the rest of compressor to the base. At first glance unless the gasket is seen, almost looks like a one piece assy. Appears to be the same one shown in 55 service manual AC section.

I have another Lehigh compressor that has a square flat bottom which bolts to the compressor as above, but with mounting holes on each corner. That compressor will bolt to a conventional flat mount such as those shown in other posts.

I don't know if that was a factory original or perhaps one supplied to dealers or by aftermarket people. It will bolt to a mount that would also handle the York or Tecumseh compressors of the time.

JV. Let me guess. Your brackets are NOT cast iron but rather welded steel plate???? Probably have no provisions for relocating the oil filter to the bracket just right of the T'stat housing?????

Yes, the three brackets I have, one of which is for the Lehigh, are all welded steel. I assume those for the York are aftermarket.

In fact, I'd make someone a deal on the Lehigh compressor and bracket. If interested, PM me.

JV. Did your brackets specifically come off of Hawk engines or maybe Hash engines.????
