A short while ago I noticed a new entry in the Owner Registry from PackardInfo member Tas(Phil) who lives in Tasmania.
https://packardinfo.com/xoops/html/modules/registry/View.php?ID=565

So seeing another Aussie on board I made myself known to Phil by PM to welcome him on board. NOTE - I will not be doing this by PM as a matter of course or Eric will level even stronger accusations of harassment against me! In the course of our PM correspondence it turned out Phil had just sent his '26 Limo to a restoration workshop, Vintage Motor Garage, just north of Sydney for a new body.

Because of this it appeared to be a perfect venue around which one of PACA's monthly runs could be organised. I contacted them a couple of weeks ago and made preliminary enquiries over the phone. And this morning, having had to pass up the monthly Morris Minor Picnic Club because my son had an electrician coming and being nominated to be there to give access to the house, it transpired the electrician couldn't make it in the morning but would be there mid-afternoon. What to do? The MMPC run was already under way so Ah-ha.....duck up to Central Mangrove to eyeball the shop and Phil's Packard and obtain more details and information for the PACA run. Mission accomplished, here's a few pic's and a link to all the pic's I took today.

I am not sure of the automotive term that applies here,
BUT in Religious terms this is known as

"the resurrection of the body."

G'day noman,
to PackardInfo. Sorry, it's not my Packard but there certainly is a lot of work to do. And if you have a Packard could you please include it in the Owner Registry here, together with a pic, any known history and how you acquired it?

Dan,

Does being a Packard fanatic or following the cult of Packard obsession qualify us as a religion? After all there is at least one religion with several prominent members who believe in a spaceship based philosophy, why not Packards?

Or prior to it's arrival at the Vintage Motor Garage was the '26 333 just undergoing an "out of body experience"?

Oz, & Phil

Apart from the theological allusions of my
"resurrection of the body"
comment, I was just thinking that restoring this machine
would come close to a modern day

Miracle!

Which, Oz, seems not all that uncommon in the various workshops that you post from down-under! You give us some amazing workmanship to view.

Last night Tas(Phil) sent me a couple of pic's of his '26 from about a month ago at Vintage Motor Garage. The restoration is certainly progressing.
