ooo boy i think i'm lost. i'm trying to remove the grill from my 52 200 deluxe. i'm gonna have to get it all the way out to send off for chroming and because i'm mounting an aftermarket transmission cooler behind it. i've gone under the car and removed about ten screws/bolts and also the upper apron (where the hood latches). i gave it a wiggle and a thump and it doesn't move. am i missing a bolt somewhere? i've checked all the tech data here and can't seem to find anything. thanks in advance!

Instructions are in the sheet metal (section X) of 51-4 service manual. Disconnect parking lights, remove bumper, lower sheet metal splash panel and the upper radiator splash panel, then there should be 4 bolts on each side of grill as per picture and grill should lift out. .

What can I say Kev, great minds alike etc etc. And to fatmike, when you take the grill in for a quote, unless you own the chrome shop, take a chair with you to collapse into when they tell you the price.
