Get the oil pan gasket from Ultramatic Dynamics. They have both the oil pan and transmission gaskets. The neat thing about there pan gaskets is they are one piece style, which makes for easier sealing.

Kirby,
About converting to 12 volt from 6 volt. To do it right is a little more complicated than one might think. I considered doing it but in my case found it was cheaper (and more original)to stay with 6 volt. If you want to do it I would suggest you go to Randy Rundle's Fifth Avenue Internet Garage and see how he would recommend doing it. He also has parts for sale to assist you to do it. Here is the website: Fifth Avenue Internet Garage

Thanks guys. That info has helped.

As far as my progress has gotten...no where the past couple of weeks. Its been too cold in the garage and i cant run the heater due to christmas lights. I kind of go all out on christmas lights and have cords split on different breakers. The garage breaker will throw if i turn on my overhead light and radio. So maybe after the holidays i can get back to work. Thanks again everyone.

Instead of dynamat go to your local Home Depot and get some Frost King foil and foam self adhesive duct insulation. Same stuff but much cheaper
