Oops, apologies, made an assumption that interested parties might peruse my Packard Owners registry entry...
Pertinent info: 1939 Six 4 dr Touring Sedan, Model 1282 17th Series. Six cylinder 245. Appreciate your pointing that (should have been obvious to me, doh!) detail out, cheers, michael

Certainly look correct to me. To be sure you can check in the 38/39 shop manual on page 13.

According to AC, the correct original pump was a type AJ, #508, and the replacement was a #2508. These corresponds to original AC pump number 1523629, same pump as used on the small eight (120), also used in 1939 and perhaps later as well.
Look for these numbers on your pump if you want to be sure it's correct. PS - just from memory (which isn't what it used to be), the pump looks correct.
