Fellow fans and friends, the family and i made a trip through lovely Utica, Mi today, I happened to have the camera on hand and caught these shots. I noticed that the former Packard Utica Defense/V-8 engine plant is vacant and for sale.

I tried to drive by the plant on East Grand Blvd. once. I ended up on some sort of overpass and not near it at all...

1580 E. Grand boulevard is pretty easy to find, it's right off of I-94. Take two guns if yo go now, the first one might jam.

This is me at Grand Blvd right before there famous door way arch/sign was auctioned off and removed. Now it's just a gapping hole in the side of the building covered with plywood.

See the plant why you can as it degrades more and mode each day.

John, thanks for the photos. That first one in particular is a very nicely composed and attractive photo.

Great pics. Is the English style cottage part of the Packard proving grounds? I recall when I belong to PAC that money was being raised for it's purchase and restoration.

In the first photo of the Utica plant there are flags flying. One is the U.S. flag and the other looks like it could be a company flag. This may indicate that at least part of the facility is occupied. I hope so. Thanks for posting them, this is the first time I have seen the plant.

Is there a place on the site for photos of the factory, proving grounds, and plant? If not it would be nice to have one.
