Have you ever considered the effect of driving thru the animal dung might have on your tire construction? I can say that my Lesters have not encountered any and seem to last much better. Cause & effect? OK, but I couldn't resist the temptation.

Funny you should mention that as cow dung does discolour white walls.

Dont ask me how I know that, it was a horrible accident that still haunts me!

On several occasions I have had the same "traffic jam" only with moose on the highway. They seem to have a habit of standing on the roads, probably to escape the black flies, and run ahead of cars which are trying to get around them. Then again there are these critters I encountered last year in North Dakota.

With the packard vs most cars in a low speed accident, i like the Packard. When it's a solid house sized chunk of meat...well, it'd go either way.
