Found a post by another "lost soul" in the Chatroom. I'll PM him about re-posting his query here.

[guylafond]: Hi everybody
[guylafond]: I'm a new french owner of a super8 1937 convertible . i need your help to know the sparking advance point of this engine . Anybody can help??

My suggestion to guylafond would be to look in the Service, Shop & Training Manuals found in the Packard Literature and Manuals section of PackardInfo. I see there are a number there covering 1937 including the 1937 Packard 'Condensed' Shop Manual and also the 1937-1938 Packard Shop Manual.
