I'm getting ready to determine how well the rear fenders fit on the body and to determine the exact location for replacement 2 lug anchor nuts on new body sheet metal. I have a question concerning the fender welt used on a 901.

What is the correct bead diameter and what suppliers provide the correct look?

Perhaps you can confirm via the parts book that a 1934 Eight 5-pass sedan (703) used the same welt? If so I'd be pleased to go out in the garage and take a measurement.

On my 31 833 I went with 1/4" bead and purchased it from here LeBaron Bonney.

O-D & Tom,

Thanks for getting back to me on the welt. The parts manual had different numbers for the '34 Packard.

I really appreciate all the help I get from the members on 'PackardInfo' Thanks to All.
