Funny you mentioned your "Bathtub". I was trying to swing a deal on a 50 Nash Statesman 2 door but the deal fell through. I was really bummed and then I found the PackPatty and as they say "the rest is history". I want to get a 50 Nash someday. I love the body style, not to mention the rear tail lights on the trunk lid. Post some pics so we can enjy your "Bathtub".......

I will be in Salado tomorrow as well, though without "Tootie"...a 1950 original Super DeLuxe. I saw that you asked Cort for a few pics of his bathtub and I couldn't resist! ( I like yours a great deal, but I am keeping mine!)

Paul's car might as well be mine, only mine is just an eight, no super or custom to speak of. Same color though, and same gorgeous wheels!

I do like the style of your car, it screams drive me more i think than most of the other nicer cars you see at car shows. That's a car that doesn't mind some rain and maybe a fast getaway car!

Sorry I missed you Hot Rod!! I saw your car though! I got there about 2:00 and took a look see, then sat with some old friends near the meeting rooms. My buddy Russell had his grey and cream '56 400 near the covered entrance where we were sitting.

I was told that Hank's chassis was great, but it was gone just a bit before I arrived. There was a chassis there but it looked to be from the 30's or so.

I had a very nice time, even got a couple of rides!

Paul
