I would like to take this opportunity to thank each and everyone that I came in contact with at my first Packard Meet. I found that, in all the car shows/ events or runs, I can honestly say that, I've never seen such hospitality, kindness and a willingness to share stories, information and what owning a Packard is all about. A Big thanks to Dave (Flackmaster) and Big Kev, you are what makes these events so enjoyable. To Bill Shipp, willing to share his pride and joy with me. To those whose names escape me but conversing with you has not. I am proud to walk amongst you and can only hope to gain the knowledge that all you have shared and what it means to be part of a very select community.

Thank you,
HotRod

It was wonderful meeting you, JW, Tom Wilcox, Mike (Let The Ride Decide), Hank, and others I am forgetting at the moment. It was a great meet, with a exceptional turn out.

I had a grey time as well, so much that I'm going to drive back down there today to look for my wife's keys that I left on the bumper of my truck. Yay!

Didn't find the keys. So if anyone there saw them let me know. It had a Kia key fob on it and was probably still attached to the master lock from the trailer.

I was lucky enough to get a few rides from old friends! I got there about 2 o'clock and seemed to have missed all the PI people. One thing I know is that it was HOT! Here are a few of the LOTS of photos I took.

Paul, at that time most of us were in the tech-sessions in the conference center.

Yes the heat and humidity was in full effect. Not use to having to chew my air before I inhale it!

Yup! I was waiting to talk to Billy Ray Clarke and he too was in one of the sessions. In the 400 pic I was so hot I was delirious!! When I left the thermometer in the car said 94 degrees...in March!
