Does anybody out there have a good photo or diagram showing the firewall of a '48 Packard with 3-speed Overdrive?

I am trying to figure where all those wires that are bundled with the Starter Wires are going.

Wow, very nice. Thank you very much. Would it be too much trouble to ask for one (or 2) more photos of the wires below the Overdrive Box? I am looking for routing to the starter, to the Overdrive Box, and to the box (Lockout Switch?) that is attached to the steering column.

I made a Harness for an automatic trans, this one is proving to be more interesting.

Your engine compartment is beautiful!

P.S. What is that small box that the 2 yellow/green wires are attached to? The wires/box that are near your Temp Sending Unit? Thanks again!

I believe that's the overdrive kickdown switch.

I think you mean this switch. It is the Electromatic clutch accelerator switch.

Johnny,
There is a schematic located here (fourth image) that may help.

I believe that's the overdrive kickdown switch.

Oops, bad guess. And I knew better. Sorry for that.
