This is a great prelude to our upcoming Packard Info. Fun Run! I will commit to buying the winner an ice-cold bear!
I won't accept that if I win it. I dated one of those once and damn near ruined the rear seat in my Mayfair.

Friends and especially Mal, sorry for my slow response. I didn't intend to soft-boil you.

According to the rulebook I will serve in sequence all these wonderful private donators. My impression is that you meanwhile prefer to hunt as a pack.

At night another generous giver (will remain nameless at his own request) informed me via PM to donate $5,00 for the benefit of PackardInfo.com. Thank you! The following picture just typifies the volume of our piggybank.

24 Hours have passed since the last "guess", John's, was submitted, so I'll venture another "guess".
Is it........BigKev?...

Yeah, I was waiting to receive this suggestion. As you know we are looking for a Packardloving man, famous the world over! Mal, thank you for another educated guess.

But is BigKev additional a car collector who prefers to park the cars in staggered rows? As far as I know about his passions at the moment Kevin collects a lot of Packard rust by an inline fuel filter and according to his own statement he prefers to do his things step by step. That means it perspectively looks good for Kevin but bad for you.

I act under constraint but have to state that BigKev is a wrong answer.

And again breathless suspense. There is something in the wind. Mal, cling on tight! You won the first photograph, it's on the house. Oh no, not only one, there are two photograps in the game! Golly! What a hit!

first photograph (one dime)

second photograph (two dimes)

Now to the requested hints. Marvellous hints, bank on. Thereafter it will be easy as ABC....oh sorry ... what is that? Tumultuous scenes!

Ladies and Gentlemen! According to reports just coming in there is a man who don't want to be outdone by Mal. Ladies and Gentlemen! He actually did it. John is back!

Gerd,
for the additional reveals on the picture. But before acting on what appears to be a very significant clue which, by the light it casts, could well be pre-empted by JW, John, who has made another "guess". Accordingly I am willing to relinquish my right of way to John so his "guess" can be afforded your usual inimitable response.

Note: While drafting this response I see you've also provided the hints I requested as well as acknowledging John's eagerness to participate.
