recommend you purchase as long a cable as you can find, probably need around 95 inches, thats about what a 40 would take.
You have a standard steering wheel? I listed a horn button 39-40 style on ebait last night for ten bucks. you might want to check it out. fits the same. My ebay name is Packard247 No steering wheels right now, 38 is one year only. I do have a correct 38 standard button, but its more than ten bucks.

I'll check out your listing. I bet '38 Standard is more than 10 bucks...
On the speedo cable...what I need help with most is the housing for the cable. It looks like a cylindrical piece with a flange that accepts a bolt fits into the trans, while the other end at the speedo is pretty much standard. thanks, Erik
