Does anyone know the weight of a 1937 Packard 6 cylinder engine by itself and with the transmission attached

This might help. By itself, not easily because transmission weights were not generally given. I would estimate at least 100-125 lbs so you can subtract that from the total. If you need other specs on the car those are most likely in the same service letter.

Going I see in the table that it lists cylinder head material for the 120-C as Aluminum. I've only seen cast iron heads on 120's so presume they were replaced over the years as the alloy heads deteriorated?
