I am the proud owner of 2 x 1934 Packards here in the UK. One (a limousine) has been restored and the other could do with some tidying up but runs well.
I have had the dynamo on the limousine overhauled and the people that have it need to know whether it is driven clockwise or anti clockwise. Can anyone help please.

Same rotation as the water pump and fan. If in doubt, just jog the starter button and observe.

As a serious collector of data especially on the 1934 Packards, are your Packards Detroit-built, or Packard-Canada? LHD or RHD? Would you be willing to share the vehicle numbers and theft-proof numbers with me via PM?

G'day IanSayer,
to PackardInfo.

I invite you to include your '34 Packards, "One (a limousine)", in the Packard Vehicle Register.

Thanks for that. So the cogs or chain that drive the dynamo go in the same direction as the fan belt? Yes, happy to share all information I can get from them. Also I’ll register them as suggested.

IanSayer for including your '34 Eight Sedan Limo in the Packard Vehicle Registry. Looking good, the term that comes to mind is understated elegance.
