G'day Packard385,
to PackardInfo, but sorry that I can't help with your request. However, I invite you to include your '37 Coupe in the Packard Owner's Registry here on PackardInfo.

Packard385,
The rumble seat in my 115C Convertible Coupe does not have a light nor arm rests. I am going to visit it tomorrow and will take some photos of the area for you. (o[]o)

The A.E.A wiring diagram (PAC website) shows no light in the rear compartment.
I guess what many of us have seen are "flaps" of rumble seat upholstery material that fold out over the paint on the sides of the rumble in the approximate position your arms would be - to protect the paint I suppose. Don't know if they are correct or not but I did see it on an impeccably restored 36 120 convertible that took top AACA honors including the Parkin Award. I don't think the owner would have done anything that he couldn't document as correct. You can just barely see it in this picture. If you're thinking of going this way, send me a PM and I'll see what other details or better photos the owner might have.

Packard385,
I just returned from visiting my 37 Six Convertible Coupe and 47 Custom Clipper Sedan. While there I took many photos of the rumble seat area of the 37. Here they are, I hope they will be of good use to you and others. The flap that appears in the pictured 36 120 Convertible Coupe is a nice touch. I have seen them on senior cars, but not on a junior. They serve two functions: One as O_D commented, is to protect the finish; and the other, primary function, is to protect the compartment passengers arms from hot body metal. Mal,
Thanks, for the photos, but please note that the weather stripping around the opening of the Aussie 120C Convertible Coupe is not installed correctly. It is in the drain channel. It should be on the deck lid. (o[]o)
